Goosewin runs field marketing for AI companies in SFBA. One part of that is simple: distribute marketing collateral to conference attendees. This role is the person on the sidewalk doing that.
No experience required. We staff a lot of events, so this contract enrolls you in a rotating pool of contractors we call on as gigs come up. We expect roughly 10-15 events across San Francisco and the Bay Area through the end of the year, with opportunities around the US if you're willing to travel, and possible ongoing work for reliable people.
What you'll do
- Show up at the venue on time, on the day, with the box
- Approach attendees walking in and out, start a quick conversation, and hand out collateral
- Keep rough counts of what you handed out and take a few photos
- Report to your supervisor after each event with counts, photos, and anything worth knowing
- Occasionally pick up marketing collateral from a warehouse before an event
What we look for
- Outgoing. You're fine walking up to strangers and starting a conversation
- Can stand outside for hours, in whatever weather SF decides on
- Can carry a box of collateral
- Car strongly preferred. You'll be moving boxes
- Reliable and on time. Events don't wait
Nice to have
- You've done street team, promo, canvassing, booth, or retail work
- You know what a developer conference looks like from the outside
- Live in or near San Francisco
- Willing to travel for events elsewhere in the US
Why Goosewin
- $40/hr plus expenses, paid per event
- Pick the events that fit your schedule
- Possible ongoing work for reliable people
