We have a brand system to maintain for ourselves (as well as our clients) and we're constantly producing things: event signage, decks, landing pages, swag, social graphics, one-pagers.
We need a Designer to extend the Goosewin design system, design things for clients, and create client field-marketing assets that fit each client's brand, and turn around polished work fast. You should care about typography, hierarchy, and quiet design: not loud, not generic.
What you'll do
- Design event collateral: name badges, signage, agendas, swag concepts (t-shirts, stickers, totes)
- Design social graphics, blog headers, and OpenGraph imagery for Goosewin and clients
- Build and maintain decks and one-pagers from our existing PowerPoint templates
- Extend the Goosewin design system: components, illustrations, icon set, color and type guidelines
- Adapt designs to each client's brand (Mastra, MiniMax, Ito, future clients) without diluting either brand
- Occasional UI and web design support for goosewin.com and client microsites
What we look for
- 3+ years brand or visual design, ideally for a tech, dev, or AI audience
- Strong portfolio with real shipped work: events, decks, brand systems, not just dribbble shots
- Figma fluency. You can hand off cleanly to engineering
- Type hierarchy and grid intuition. You don't have to be told what's wrong with a layout
- Speed: 80% in 2 days beats 100% in 2 weeks for most of what we ship
Nice to have
- Print and production design experience (we make real-world things)
- Motion design or After Effects familiarity
- Experience designing for developer or AI products specifically
Why Goosewin
- Variety: brand system work, event production, and client-side adaptations
- Real ownership of the visual identity for Goosewin and the clients we serve
- Work that actually ships and gets used, not designed and shelved
- Steady recurring volume
